Hi Helen, - No tea/coffee making in the rooms, but mini bars are, with water, fruit drinks, and beer/spirits, at reasonable prices. (500ml can of lager = 3 lev =£1-20p)

We returned to the UK on 01-02, had a great time, and don't consider that the hotel was 'overrated', especially if you consider what you are paying !!!!

All facilities advertised were available, and if the food was occasionally less than piping hot,- then just tell the management and they will bring more.

The Bulgarians are (mostly!), friendly and helpful, and if something is not to your liking, as before, tell them.

A word of caution though, - The Hotel Pamporovo, is the last stop/pickup on the skibus circuit, so in the mornings many buses are full by the time they arrive, and don't stop. - 2 special buses are provided for the exclusive use of the Hotel, but don't always turn up ! Don't fret though, coz' taxi's run to the slopes at a cost of 10 lev max (£4), and shared between 4 of you, it avoids queuing, and the squash of the skibuses !!!

Everything is soooo cheap, - Have GREAT time, - we did !

P.S let me know if you've any other queries ?

re: TEA, COFFEE N TOWELS

we took towels from our room down to the pool. the pool was BLOODY cold though.
the hotel is fine and not over rated. we are used to staying five star in London, its not really the equiv. of a five star hotel in this country but its fine.
