It's a free news paper and if I knew about these things I'd post a link or something but dedicate a page on Skiing in BG. It's a bit confusing if you don't know as the reporter switches from Borovets to Bansko and then back again and the pictures state Borovets and then say that you might have to queue for the lifts and show the Bansko Gondola. The piece doesn't even mention queue times in Boro but does refer to them in Bansko.

I've never heard of it. I wonder if they mean the 'Avalanche' which is up the very top somwhere off Marky 3. It's way off piste and it was closed for much of last season and not enough snow the season before but I went up there prior to that.re: THE METRO
I wondered that but the article says cross country skiing and mentioned a wood statue.We went up there last March and had a great time. I don't think you would do it on Nordic skis though, unless the writer meant off piste and not cross country.
