Hi all,
Not sure where to start, but I think by trying to help get people discounts etc, we may have caused a can of worms...!! Myborovets are now offering the same 'exclusive'! discount if you mention their name BUT we have just been in there having a beer with Nicky (owner) and neither him or any of his managers knows anything about any discount from them and said they won't honour it.... Obvioulsy they don;t want this to reflect on them / people being annoyed etc but they have said ...

They asked me to ask Myborovets to remove it from their website - I have emailed them to ask but not sure. Just don't want any of you to get caught out and pay more than you have to.

We asked one of the bar staff 2 nights ago & they agreed. We aren't trying to cause a fuss. I will go in tonight & see what the score is.The deal WAS exclusive to us 2 nights ago & was originally posted on our site last night where you posted yours this morning.
This is a misunderstanding because one of the bar staff forgot to mention it / ask his boss & somehow we're getting the stick for it?

We originally got the discount for everyone on 30th of December - please search the post - details below....so really confused about the 'exclusive' bit. We reminded people this morning as not many people have been using it. if we've been in there then we tell everyone to use it.
In terms of 'stick' I was just asked to pass on the message asking you to delete it from your site as they know nothing and none of the bar-men can honour anything. trying to save both you and them flack.... ...

Cool - they were getting really stressed about it but I think it was more because they hadn't agreed anything and didn't know who you are! Just go in and see them but to be honest, i don't really think it matters, just wherever any of us can help get discounts the the better!Mad Mark - will try Happy Duck for you tomoz and let you know! Are you taking the p***? What commission? My other half works in Boro and you NEVER see me actively promoting him etc on this site. I always tell people to shop around regardless of what they are looking for. The owner of Titanic is a good friend of ours, so yes, if he is willing to offer people a discount, then we will recommend people go there. I also recommend lots of other places where I don't know the owners but think they are good.

bit of a silly thread! The bars and restaurants in borovets are so overpriced they will quite happily give you a discount of 20% if you ask.
In regards to commission, if there is one ski instructor in borovets uthat does not screw his ski group by raking in 30% commission from every restaurant he takes his group to, should be fired in disgrace!!
