Although I have been to Borovets and Bansko I cannot remember whether or not either would be good for children as beginners. I was obviously not taking my wife's advice seriously enough about checking these places out for the kids. Any advice and experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Gary, Bansko is fine for children begginers, the main ski school takes them from school age and there is a kindergarten Ski school with all the usual on snow toys etc, never been to Borovetes so couldnt say.
Oh you meant beginners skiing. Borovets was not bad for total beginners but too crowded for 1st weekers imo and the increase in gradient between green and blue runs is higher than other resorts I've been to. OTOH it will be less hassle and quicker for the kids to meet up for ski school in Borovets because the the beginners ski at resort level to begin with.
