Taxis & Buses in Bansko...

Hi I am going to Bansko in 08 and am staying in a hotel that is too far to walk from the town & gondola.

I've read on a few sites that the buses that are advertised are not very relaible and that the taxis overcharge the tourists by loads?

Is this true? or over exaggerated? Will it be easy to get to & from town via bus and or not too expensive taxi?

We stayed at the Orphrey a couple of years ago and the bus provided by the hotel was like clockwork apart from the day we had a huge dump of snow in the town, but was still pretty good. We had no problem with being overcharged in taxis either but we always agreed the price before we got in

Your hotel probably has its own bus, ..... if not they will have a taxi company they use.....
