In reference to a the earlier post of whats faster

My father has lived in eastern Europe for 12 years, and everywhere you go(bulgaria being the worst culprit) Taxis have a unique pedal or swicth which is pressed when a tourist gets in, thusr raising the taxi fair. Just pretend to be bulgarian

Make sure they also remove the receipt that they leave dangling down in front of the meter. We got caught out by that one too and the fare started at about 8 lev.
