Got back from borovets on the 3rd of jan. Loved every minute of ski-ing and have started saving for my nxt trip!
Stayed at the hotel Rila which was really good, o.k. the food wasn't amazing but it was warm and after a hard day on the slopes all you want to do is sleep! But the night life is good Buzz bar deffinatly worth a visit.
Small note on passports make sure you have 6mths left on it, unlike one of our party who faced deportation when entering sofia, luckerly they weren't too ...

Changing money out there isn't a problem i took US dollars but found all the exchanges excepted English sterling.
