Thanks everybody

I've been lurking on this site for a while now, gratefully noting the hints and tips and following all the links to info on snow, eats and booze in Pamporovo.

I'm off on Saturday and, thanks to you all, I'm sure the girlfriend and I will have a totally double ace time.

Snap! I've been checking out this discussion board for the past week or two and am going to Pamporovo on Saturday. Likewise, thanks to all those who responded to my worries about snow and queries about money, gear etc. Simplistic though they may have seemed to the experienced Bulgarian Skier, they have been most useful to me!

We're bound for Hotel Pamporovo, or building site Pamporovo at is seems to be from recent posts. Still, a few hours boarding and some local rakyia will no doubt be enough to knock us out.

Snap again Johnny! We're also going to Hotel Pamporovo. I'm a little anxious about it having read some of the comments. However, it's in the nature of people to only write negative stuff. There may well be a load of happy campers out there who just didn't leave a comment. I'm trying to be optimistic here!!!!!!

Likewise, people are quick to condemn but slow to commend so who knows what we'll find. Still, a little bit of hardship can make for an awfully big adventure... just as long as the hardship is slight noise from a nearby crane rather than being stuck on a mountain overnight with a broken leg!
