I got back on saturday!! O my god i loved it!! The visibility some of the days were very bad!
But Thanx to Hani Gavani, a local professional snowboarder we had no worries where to get good food!! The best places to eat are in the old square down the side streets, and all bulgarians are very friendly here!!

We had some very bad experiences with food The Golden Fox, Known as the Shit fox!! Meat came out not cooked not good at all!! The steak house was very nice, and the people are wicked in there.

Most of the time we were in the Lions Bar very good atmosphere and i think we left our mark as the chris the barman gave one of our group quite alot of Rakia which made him unconcious and caused quite a scene

quite alot of the good bars are just out of bansko base camp being one!! Local snowboarders go in here and brill atmosphere, and the women in bulgaria, not one smiled or was nice the only one who did was the curly haired girl in the Lions Bar!!

The cheapest place to get ski hire is defo Toni, he is the the last ski hire shop and you go down a few steps to be greeted by the nicest people you could meet!! At 15 lev a day for boots and skis plus poles who can complain??

We got a lift pass for 35 lev most days as our bulgarian friends got them, this is fine but when going through the gates make sure that there is no one looking at the computers to see that you are holding a bulgarian pass or it will be taken off you!

The prices are so cheap you wouldn't believe we tried as hard as we cud to spend our £350 which included transfers, hires, lift passes, everything and we just couldnt!! The best day for me was at the top of the mountian looking down and seeing that you are above the clouds!! Then skiing through them into one of the cafes to eat a tasty bean soup with toast not to be missed!
Although thankfully we got up the mountain on the chair lift just about before it buckled and broke down leaving a ski instructor hanging on the bar like a monkey!
I was wetting my pants going up on it as it was clicking and cudnt see a thing with all the mist!!

P:S: AVOID THE MASSAGE IN THE HOTEL STRAZNITE, to men were in there with me the same time and made me and my friend rather uncomfortable getting a little to close to certain areas. Although the hotel is wicked you can go fro a drink in there and use there pool, sauna and facilities for 6 leva. We stayed in the mont Blanc apartment which was supurb.

Hi there the pizza was nice and my barcardi and coke but i ordered sweet and sour chicken came out cold and chicken pink and raw!! My boyfriend ordered a long martini and it came in a shot in a wine glass. Our local friend laughed when he new we ate there and sed the shit fox!!

The others all ordered mixed grill which they didnt really enjoy, the best restaurant was the backstreets to the right once you are in the main square it was all home made and the table was filled four times with many courses and drinks, salades, breads, herbs, fresh fish and meat, warm wine and warm rakia, the price came to £10 each!!

The chairlift that broke down was the one in the centre of the main area, where all the resturants are, not the far left by the toilets but the one to the right of it!! We went on and it was rattleing and as we skiied down everyone was shouting and gathering the little red amblence came out and the snow mobiles to get everyone down!! I don't no what happened to those stuck higher up the mountain!! It was the day the Balkan World Cup was on!!
