I'm Henrik and i'm a Danish Rep that is going home tomorrow after working in Bulgaria this summer. As this seems to be a British oriantated discussion board, I thought i'd share my experiences of British Tourists with you.

I'm Henrik and i'm a Danish Rep that is going home tomorrow after working in Bulgaria this summer. As this seems to be a British oriantated discussion board, I thought i'd share my experiences of British Tourists with you.
I spent many hours sitting next to a Rep from a British Tour Operator (name omitted to protect the innocent) during my duty hours, and have been amazed at what i've listened too. Here are some of the ridiculous complaints from this summer.
* The Bacon in the restaurant is too thick.
* Why are there locals staying in the hotel? It's disgraceful.
* I paid 109GBP for this holiday (2*AOA), my travel agent promised me a minimum 4* on the beach.
* I took a prostitute back to my room and she stole my wallet. What you gonna do about it?
* I took 1000GBP, my passport, my credit cards, my camcorder, my digital camera, my jewellary and my flight tickets to the beach and when i went swimming they all got stolen. What you gonna do about it?
* The beer in the hotel costs 0.2lv more than in the bar on the street. We are being ripped off!
* The food is not English.
* I did not get seats together on the aircraft. It's ruined my holiday.
* My suitacse has been scratched in transit.
* There was no alcohol on the plane. I had to go 3 hours without a drink.
* I was told the sunset over the Black Sea, when it actually rises. I have been misled.
* Why is there no Union Jack flying outside the hotel?
* I went on an excursion to Istanbul, no one told me i'd need my passport.
* I went on the Bar Crawl and did not get drunk.
* There are too many people on the Beach.
On one occassion one English man was so drunk he hit his Rep. Not suprisingly the Rep called the Police, the client was arrested, jailed for a night and fined in court the next day. And still had the cheek to complain upon his realise.
Not a complaint, but one client asked the Rep, how to get to the other side of the island and what there was to see. When the Rep replied 2 days by coach, and Portugal, the client was a little confused.
Ok the Danish clients are not perfect, but after to listening to all this nonsense i'm not suprised the English are being lablled the biggest whingers in Europe.

I used to be a Holiday Rep in Spain and had similar complaints.My favourtie one was when i was asked if the Tea in a certain English Bar, was made with English water!
Or then there was the lady that won the Clock/Radio in the raffle and then complained because she could only pick up Spainish Radio stations
