No-one can predict that far ahead but already the season is shaping up nicely for good base layers. January, on the whole, is looking very unsettled with a HUGE dump starting this evening (Thurs) and lasting through until Monday with showers all next week. Later in the month around the 17th and 19th there is a chance for a lot more snow but the temperatures could climb a little, but this is way way off yet.
I post a forecast at least once a week so just watch this space ready ...

I can predict snow!!! i have a big red snow button that sends a lazer and the snow falls, but it does take 48 hours lol i would rather rely on my snow dance, i predict that the snow will fall tomorrow evening and the snow will continue through Saturday, my snow predictions are always right, we will have a huge dump of snow, lots of smiles, lots of laughter and most of all lots of happy memoriesre: The Dump Is Coming

I must say; very dissappointed you can't predict further than a week or so! 
Seriously, will look forward to your forecasts with interest. Skiing has been OK as a relative newbie the past two years, but i guess I'm looking forward to more challenges this year! A much, much better start this year, so fingers crossed. Early Feb 2010 was Ok, with a pretty decent dump during our week in Boro - so hoping to get lucky again this year. I'm sure all will be well.

By unsettled, i hope you mean the chance of plenty of snow! Skiing in tshirts in slush isn't fun!

So anyone can read it before I promise snow and I bring the snow with me. I think I posted this 6 weeks ago, as I booked my flight I'm not the Mistress of the Icecubes; I'm Mr. SnowSune
P.S. May be a resort will have early snow next year book a early flight for me....
