The best diary is the first proper one, 2005 ... the rest get a bit outlandish as they're really about all the stuff we did whilst not on the slopes! Working on 2009 and 2010 and they should appear soon.

Great blog- you've got me a bit worried about picking up the equipment now as I know sweet F$%K all about skis! Especially worried about catching athletes foot...

Actually not that common guy, but you'll know all about it, they stink.

Just use common sense and your eyes, you can see straight away if they're a decent set. The incident that started that thread is mentioned in the 2005 blog where both guys I travelled with got dodgy gear. In saying that I got a brand spanking new snowboard that year that was brilliant. Things all round are vastly improved these days, you'll be fine.
