The Happy End

Hi, can someone explain to me what the happy end is like inside? Is it like an english pub all oaky beams and carpets or is it more Bulgarian? It seems to be the place to quaff after a long day skiing.

Can you ski to the bar and order a pint or is it 5 mins from the slopes?

I hear people talking about it here but how good is it?!

See you in there! Booze

re: The Happy End

It's nice enough but expensive and some of the staff are down right rude.

Aha perhaps I won't see you in there then.

A more 'local' bar should suffice. Old town perchance? Confused

Agree with the above.
The happy End is English Town Centre prices, probably more with the poor exchange rate.
Head into town.
When I was there last year there was a small bar opposite the ice rink which was very friendly and cheapBooze It looks like a transport cafe from the outside

That would be the Bistro Pirin as it is now known. Great little place Large beer for around 80p and great homecooked food.

Hi,

So how do you get to the Bistro Pirin from the main Gondola? Not been to bansko before and would like to have a few cheap beers! Is it easy to find?

Ok as you leave the gondola car park turn left towards the town. Walk down on the right hand side cross over the lights and it is about 100 metres on the right opposite the car park it will have s blue skidvd sticker on the door. It is not a party place but good food and beer at good prices. I would recomend the Friendly at the hotel Fortuna (turn right at the same lights) and also the newly opend Crown is supposed to be good.

Head into the old town for proper mehanas.
