12 scottish guys are going to e staying at the Iglika hotel from the 6-13th january '08. we are looking for any reviews/opinions regarding how good or bad the place is.
its always been a well positioned and popular hotel, its having rather a large extension being added to the side at the moment. Its behind the rila (look at the pictures on this site)
I've stayed at the Iglika twice - you'll find that a lot of people who go there once go back again. OK - so the food isn't great, but the hotel is in a great location, good facilities and cheap!!!
i stayed there with a group in march and its all you need...we had the superior rooms that can take a third bed and also had a balcony...the staff were very friendly and the food was actually pretty good but i guess the standard can change from season to season...the rooms were cleaned every day and we didnt get the feeling that if anything was left out it would be stolen like some people suggest..the location was spot on...right behind the rila so either walk through the back of the hotel ...

There's a group of us laydeez going to the Iglika over New Year (after being convinced for weeks that the trip organiser had booked us into the Kalina!). These reviews have made me look forward to it even more. Just a shame we'll miss the Dundee boys!
Yes, thanks for the concern PP - I'm in a department that's got to do the retraining of the people being redeployed so very, very busy... hence not too much time for posting...
Hi
stayed at the Iglika 4 times would highly reccommend, hotel is warm and friendly, food is fine, always an ooption for the most fussy of eaters, and you can eat as much as you like so ideal after a good days skiing.
Trying the Flora this year as we could not get the superior rooms. there from 27th Jan arrive at 11 and in Buzz bar for 11.10
