Hi all! My post is a double header (not much unlike a Tasmanian!)
Firstly, I have picked out a new snowboarding jacket that I want to buy which is 'The North Face Vortex Tri-climate'. What I would like to find out from anyone who has visited Bansko is have they seen much 'The North Face' gear in any of the ski/snowboard clothing stores there? If so, do they know if it is the latest season stuff. Just trying to work out whether I should wait and buy it in Bulgaria or get it here and ...

Secondly, has anyone stayed at Hotel Bansko before? Me and a few others have 7 nights booked there in late Feb and are looking for some reports on what it is like. ie food, facilities etc.

Can't imagine you getting any quality gear in bulgaria. Fair enough if you was going to a resort in a richer country, you proabbly get the genuine thing. Buy here and don't get ripped off.Can't help on hotel either im afraid, or even resort. Going Borovets. Hope you have a good time though ( sure you will)
