The castle - pamporovo

Just wondering whereabouts 'the castle' is in pamporovo. And how easy is it to get to the main resort?

Skiing in bulgaria for the first time in feb, cant wait!
..... And im optimistic about the snow

Hi there the castle is pretty much ski in ski out close to the ski depot and lift, not sure about walking it to the resort centre id geuss about 15/20 mins aviod taxis if i were you they are very expensive. Arron will be along shortly he will be able to give you more accurate info.

You can get to a piste around the back of the Castle (less than 100 m walk) and then it is a gentle 2 to 3 mins schuss down to the 'bus stop' chair lift. This then takes you up to the mid-station and then the main chair lift up to the Snezhanka tower etc. Go down the stairs beside the Castle pub, straight on past the new kiddies' area, step into your skis and you are away.

I would not advise walking to the town centre, especially at night. No pavements and it is quite a hike.

so what would you say is the best way to go out in the evenings?

make a trip to the white house and belfry pubs just in pamps .they both have mini buses and will run you about all you have to do is have a drink in their bars .easy

There is also a restaurant and lobby bar in Castle 1 and a restaurant in Castle 3 so there is no need to go out if you don't want to.
