The final day of holidays

The flight's not until 9.30pm so we probably won't leave the resort until about 4.30pm - where can you get a one day lift pass and one day ski hire?

May even come and do the wall with you Pete - if I can get this arranged and get up to that level

re: The final day of holidays

Angie is going to buy new skis this year so you can use her others, (she is 5' 7'') so if you are approx. the same hight they will be OK. If not, you can still hire from the depot for 1 day. You can also get a 1 day lift pass next to the triple chairlift.

I am a very pleased to hear that you will have a go at the Wall, but skiing is for fun, not to scare yourself shitless, so maybe it is too soon for you to try the Wall, but we will see how you progress through the week.

The back red is your challenge this year, and I will get you down that I promise.

I have bags of patience, and even if it takes a whole day, you WILL ski it.

Snow has now stopped in Pamps, but should return at the weekend.

Just 39 days to go, can you believe that!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to having a magic holiday with you.

Hi Pete,
If you are going to ski on your last day as your flight isnt till late, it may be wise to extend your hotel room until later as you usually have to vacate by 12 noon.
This is what I do in Borovets - costs £10 but well worth it.

Thanks Paul but we have been going to Pamps for so many years now that most of the hotel staff are personal friends so we have no trouble of keeping our rooms for free.

Must try Borovets one day, but Pamps keeps calling me back for more!!!!!

Thanks for that offer Pete - I'm about 5ft 4in - so other than resetting the bindings cos I'm probably a touch heavier than Angie, we should be fine.

I'm so looking forward to this holiday and have recruited a friend to come along in 2005 when I celebrate my big birthday - so mega party then. This year will just be for practice.

re: The final day of holidays

Hi, like Judith we are booked on a late flight to Birmingham, is it the norm for people to spend the last day trying to grab another 1/2 -3/4 days skiing, or are other things on offer?

It does seem to be a shame to waste 4-5 hours of skiing.

Well, we always pack the night before, (we have our own ski gear) then ski right up until 1 hour before the bus arrives. You should see the faces of the people who have just sat in the hotel all day whilst we ski. A real picture.

10 mins to shower and change then jump on the bus.
Well you gotta get your monies worth ain't ya!!!
