The latest time to ski in Borovets

I just came back from Boro. I am thinking going there again. Would the snow condition in mid of march still be alright?

We often go mid to late March and have always had good skiing conditions, especially on the top. Boro often gets a good snow fall at the end of March but obviously it is warmer so lower slopes can get slushy by the afternoon.

Balkan are taking bookings up to the 11th April. Can you wait a couple of weeks to see what happens and book last minute, to be sure

yeah...I am waiting for few weeks more...If the snow condition allows, i would book later one (cheaper). Borovets is the only resort i am looking at as i think the snow here can last longer than other resorts. I also like the samokov ski school.. I have already learnt snow plough, so I think the instructor would take me up to the top everyday.

There are beginner slopes up top and some nice slopes where you can now work on your parallel turns

Don't think you would be with Samokov ski school if staying in the Iglika but I'm sure someone will know.

Calvin, we're doing the same.

Went as a family 1st week feb, trying ti do the adult only thing for maybe 3 days skiing end March. Have been 2nd week of March for the last 2 years and was only a beginner then and had a fab time.

Keeping an eye on the snow and booking last minute end of March, they always seem to have a late dump around then.
