Kes was a really nice Kestral in the film- we had to do school work around it if i remember right!I had a Kestral as a pet years ago!

Kes was filmed at a school less than 10 mins drive from where I live, and my Grandpa worked there....I believe it was known as 'St Helens'?Little insight into the background of the film Kes there for ye!

When i was young i had birds of prey as pets- had a Kestral, a Sparrowhawk- and a Tawny owl- as well as others- Kes was allways my fav!re: Things are looking at getting better

Hi MJG- i had a long Eared owl, for a while Nice bird- let go- as i had loads of cage and aviery birds, every one brought the birds found to me!- so i had loads of birds that i eventually let go once well well enough!
