Back from Borovets yesterday. Had a great time but a couple of points I feel others may wish to know.
We stayed at the Samokov. Firstly if anyone suffers from eczema or other skin problems you may wish to take your own sheets with you. The ones we had in our room initially were INCREDIBLY itchy and rough though were changed to smoother ones after complaining to the rep.
Secondly, we heard a report of items going missing from rooms, some expensive, and complaints being totally ...

Secondly, we heard a report of items going missing from rooms, some expensive, and complaints being totally brushed over. Strangely our room key "disappeared" and we had to pay 18 lev for a new one. grrrrrr.
Thirdly, we were quoted one price for the cost of a safety deposit box at the beginning of the week, at the end of the week when paying for it the price had risen by a third. And I was told it was my fault for not understanding, definitely. Er hmm. I know what I heard.
Anyway apart from that we had a FAB time, there was a good snowfall Friday pm/eve for those about to go, - and we will be going back next year.
