This E.U. Thing

So i understand that we still are using the lev, But how has Bulgaria joining the E.U. affected the cost of drinking and eating in the resorts this year? Is it still as cheep or has it gone up? Anyone who has been so far please tell me.

Only things that have gone up that I noticed were fags and taxis.

Victory fags used to be about 20p a packet but are now about £1 a packet.

When I first went to Pamporovo a one way taxi ride from the Perelik to the Malina was 3 leva - it's now 15.
Drinks have gone up a tad - but not so you'd notice too much.

Otherwise - everything is pretty much the same.

yeah but Pete when you first went mate the taxi was a horse and cart!!!
