Is it true that the cleaners would like hand cream etc as part of a tip because its expensive in bg?

I am sure you heard that from someone too tight to leave a real tip.
As in any country, there is no substitute for money.

lol ok, i get the point. However, i've done some cleaning in my time (pub though so no tips Sad ) and if someone had left me some really good expensive stuff, as well as some cash, i wouldve been pretty pleased.

I think the annual average wage is something like US$1600. Please don't jump on my back if I'm wrong but I don't think I'm far out!! If you get good service leave a tip, enough said really....

If you mean the Malina Chalets, I believe they are cleaned daily.
