Already posted this on an earlier thread, but no replies
I am going to Borovets on Sunday, wondering if I should buy sallopettes/jacket. I can rent for 25 euros, and can buy for around 100 pounds. I wont be able to get to TK Maxx before (well maybe Saturday afternoon, but it will be too late then), so I was wondering if I should rent, buy here or wait until I get out there.
Also, if I decide to buy at Borovets, where should I get them? I dont want to lose the first day by ...

Asda has snow gear for around £80 jacket+salopettes.If your only going once, hire it.
If your going to go again, buy your own.
Don't spend too much on gear for your first trip, you will get a feel for what gear is good once you've been.
If you want branded/quality gear its probably cheaper in Bulgaria.

Hiya Damo, it depends on what time you get into borovets, the shops stay open tillquite late so you can have a look around for gear, without using any time from your first day so to speak, cant help with prices but it is cheaper over there, unless tk max or similar,,,,, but would definatley buy than rent, have fun dude hope ya get the white stuff soon,

DamoFrom you name I guess you're Irish like myself, so no Asda etc, however pamela Scotts on street behind Grafton st do cheap good ski gear. Theres a place in Sandyford Ind estate as well, cant remember their name

Yip, I'm Irish, but I'm in London at the mo, but doens't look like there's any TK Maxx etc near where I am (city centre)I will be in Newry late Satruday afternoon so I can go to TK Maxx there, but they probably wont have anything so I would like to know what I am doing before I go.
You heading to Bulgaria anytime soon?

If you do get chance to hit TK Maxx on Saturday, do it - they have loads and loads of gear in at the moment in the ones around here....Have a wicked time.

HI DamoI've been to Pamp with a few Irish mates. Snow gear is quite cheap there, however as u start skiing next morning, that means u have the first night, afternoon to buy gear - it really depends on your flight times. The shops close around 9pm.
