Is it too early to start getting excited about the hols? Not leaving until the 18th but just have to keep looking at all sites to find out what's happening and how the snow is looking. I went to Borovets 20years ago - the first time I ever went skiing!!! From the sound of some of the posts I've read here it must have changed quite a bit. I had an intructor called Goldie (don't know if that is a common Bulgarian name but I see that there is a Goldie at BJ's in Pamporova - probably not the ...

I'm going to be staying at the Samokov with my teenage daughter so it would be good to meet up with others.

Goldie has been a ski instructor in his time, but not sure if he was in Borovets, he would have been about 23 if its the same goldie.However it is a common name - or at least I know a few out there.

Well the age is about right but as you say its a common name...re: Too early?
Samokov is a decent hotel. Go for a massage or two.Did you stay their 20 years ago?
