My wife wants to know if she goes to the top of the mountain on the Gondola to have a look at the views does she have to Ski down or can she come back down in the Gondola (never skied before)
Actually I want to know as well but didn't want to appear a coward.
Shes not alone Gary. Many people go to the top and then lose it when they are there. She will be able to get a return trip without any problems whatsoever.
Yes you can use the Gondola for sight seeing only but you do need the lift pass of course. If you are a beginner then there are nursery slopes up there as well as the red runs. There's even a taxi ( Skidoo ) from the cafes back up to the Gondola station.
and those skiddos charge 5 lev per person but after a full days skiing £2 is a fair price to pay to avoid that climb. The wife did her knee in day 2 and went up the gondola for a look and came down ok. The runs down from the gondola are for intermediates and above so plenty of people coming down on the gondola
