Top slopes Borovets?

What are the slopes like at the top of the gondola in Borovets? Is their plenty of snow?

Loads of snow up the top of the gondola, I got back on Sunday and had a great weeks skiing. The slopes down the bottom are fairly well covered but there were a couple of patches of grass coming out on some of the more used parts. But with the snow they had at the weekend I expect they are better covered now.

I was there on the 20th Dec and there were a good 80 - 90 cms - it has not stopped snowing so its a lot mroe now...

its snowing now on dvd webcam so slopes will be excellent

if you look at the video webcam you can see the snow coming down

Its a little foggy at the top, but not overly so. The pistes are pretty good but starting to rub through in places Markudjuk 2A (the black) added a few more dings to my news skis as did the ski road back. Could do with some more snow and of course, someone managing the place with the first idea of piste maintenance... Not many people on the slopes though

isnt there a lot of snow then because if as you say there isnt a lot of people on the slopes why is there places rubbing through on the markudjuk run

There is a good covering but once compacted on the pistes its only a few centimeters thick - on steep parts where people brake more with their edges this gets worn away by the end of the day. Hopefully it'll be repaired by the piste bashers overnight.
