lol last time I did a package holiday was something like 1996/97

Ever since sorted out flights and accomodation totally seperatly, never have to deal with annoying reps we do what we want to on holidays.

I recall one trip we went on an All Inclusive holiday to Majorca (we had already planned exactly what we were doing every day) and the first day the rep said everyone to meet at 10am for the introduction and Trips + you will get a free drink. We agreed see you there (clearly we were not going to go) then at 10am the actuial bar was empty so got a few drinks in got the best place round the pool and had quite a few games of table tennis.

Using tour operators? Never even when it is cheaper.

Book flight,book hotel of your choice,book transport , book extras and enjoy the experience without the sales pitches from Reps with dollar bills in front of their eyes and without the company of low drinken brigades from your fellow countrymen!
The more normal the flight company is, the less chance of alcoholic skumbags going the same way as you and coming back again with you to top up your holiday at the end.
The more expensive the hotel the less chance of bumping to and seating next to burping pigs with faul language in the restaurant or bar.
Don't forget that BG as a whole is a BARGAIN destination and if you book cheap and chearfull you will get for definite the same -not and inch better.
If you still decide to do the package's way --any of the tour companies will be the same
For Pamporovo Orlovets is OK as a hotel as stated by the guru for this resort PP but as with most of the places there it is a long walk to the ski runs or bussing to the slopes.And of course there is always a shadow hanging over Pamporovo as for the snow conditions at any given time during the winter season.

so booking that early is a very heroic thing to do.
Of course my opinion so don't come on me now regulars!
