Balkan tours have recommened we book their traditional evening in the Chevermeto restaurant (Pamps) - return bus from hotel, 3 course meal, free wine, cabaret of traditional costume, folklore, song and dance, etc...
Saw the review of the Chevermeto on the Pamps page but has anyone any first hand experience of this place?
At £8 per head (yes eight pounds each!) it sounds either too good to be true or too cr@p to go to!
Done it 4 times and intend to do it next year. Good value for money. I think the food is ok nice roasted lamb bit fatty but tasty. If you want a sort of traditional evening this is pretty close. Plenty of good cheap drink folk dancing etc bit of a laugh really.
Yes - we booked through Selective Travel on the Lisburn Road but when we got our booking confirmation and insurance details sent out the other day they included a sheet with details of this night out. Said it usually about £15 per person but you can book it through them for £8.
Went last year, and thought it was a bit steep at £15 we paid in the resort. But at £8 its not too bad. Very nice atmosphere in the place, and food was tasty, if you like lamb. If not, they do a nice veggie option that I saw someone have. The folk dancing and live band made a change, so why not give it go!
I booked our through balkan tours, they made a mistake and didn't charge me for the flight supplement or the gala dinner on Christmas night, now they have rang looking an extra £195 they can whistle for it i've paid for it all two months ago
