Transfer Thursday 17th

Hi all,

I am needing to get from Sofia airport to Bansko on Thursday! My flight gets in at 12:05! I am travelling on my own as a friend has dropped out last minute.

Anybody got a spare place on a transfer or does anybody know the fastest and cost effective way to get to Bansko?

Thanks
Jamie

You can get a city bus from the airport (avoid taxis unless is Supertrans (yellow with blue logo, and there are some imitators) This bus costs about 1lv into town (or it did last July) It only drops you off at Orlov Most (eagle bridge) (get off outside kiosks after first left turn when you look like you are near the centre.) You then need to, walk South west from bus stop past national stadium on left and park on right and when reach next main road (look for tram lines) and then take tram 12 ...

You then need to, walk South west from bus stop past national stadium on left and park on right and when reach next main road (look for tram lines) and then take tram 12 down street until you cross another tramline Then catch Tram 6 or 10 down Tsar Boris III boulevard for about 10-15 mins (wait until see largish park on righthand side Ovcha Kupel bus station is behind row of shops.

You can find bus times from here by typing words for name of bus station into google (bansko tourist information website)-last bus is about 1700.

Perhaps best to try and get city map from airport, and need to buy bus tickets from kiosks.
