Hi, has anyone done this transfer!? everyone is saying its different times, balkhan holidays states in 2.5 hr, thomson holiday state its 3.5.........which is it!?re: Transfer from Plovdic to bansko
The distance from Plovdiv airport is 75 km, road goes in the mountain but it's not a bad one. 1.5 h of driving it is. Well waiting time is something else.re: Transfer from Plovdic to bansko
The transfer is 3 1/2 hours when the roads are in good condition.
Balkan Holidays advertise the transfer as 3 1/2 hours?

Don't do it! Use Sofia instead.If you are delayed don't say you weren't warned!

we travelled from plodiv to bansko last march.believe me it takes 4 hrs its not a very nice journey make sure you have plenty of tunes on your i pod and a few cans which you can buy at the little shop at the airport but hey your on holiday and will be on the slopes the next day so it doesnt really matterre: Transfer from Plovdic to bansko

Who on earth told you that!!Both 1st and 2nd Editions of the Balkan Brochure for 2007 state 3-3.5 hrs.

Not done this transfer but know people who have. Apparently they make no stops so take food and drink with you.It will all be worth it. Bansko is superb.

They do take breaks on the transfer.
