Transfers from PDV to Bansko

I know it's a bit late (we're going on 26th:-)) but can anyone tell me how long the coach transfer is from Plovdiv to Bansko?

I have a nasty suspicion it's a lot longer than PDV to Pamps (about 1 1/4 hours) but I'm trying to work out roughly what time we might arrive at our hotel.

I heard it takes about 3.5 hours. I also heard it is 160 km long but the driver is going to drive really slowly.
I'll be getting some sleeping pills for that trip.

Ugh:-( - but that's about what I thought.

So, as Mr Balkan Hols expects to arrive at the airport at 7pm, we're looking at the thick end of midnight at the hotel.

And it gets worse, of course, as it means a *very* early start on the return transfer.

It is a long drive. Would have been much shorter from Sofia. If you get there at midnight, you will have done well.

Actually I thought it was from sofia when I said 3.5hours. Are you going there from Manchester ? I'm going from Manchester on saturday but forot what airport we arrive at.

We got the 1:30 flight from Mancs to PVD. The flight took aroung 3.5 hours (+ 2 hours ahead) so I think we arrived at 7:00ish, but didn't leave for Bansko till around 8:15. Arrived at the hotel at around 11:45.

As you say up at 7:00 to get breakfast at 8:00 and away by 9:00.
