We flew with thomson to sofia at the start of january and were not allowed to keep the boots with us, so your choice is to either put them in the suitcase or leave them in the boot back and send them off on their own. you can put your ski boots where you like but they must fit inside your case(and weighed). or hand luggage(and not weighed).i put one in each and just stayed within my weight allowance with easyjet. steve.g
Think this depends on who you are travelling with - we traveled with Crystal last year and boots counted as part of 20kg allowance and had to be in suitcase. Traveled with Balkan before and counted as ski carriage. Anyone know if this is still the case with Balkan as flying with them this year?
