I am planning a Ski weekend in a couple of weeks. I am thinking of either Zakopane or Borovets (thats the cheapest flights). It will just be me on my own. Any suggestions would be very welcome especially tips on getting a transfer (ideally on a shared minibus type service). what is the snow like at the moment. I am happy to do greens or blue runs but not confident enough yet for much more.any help really appreciated

I'm travelling alone to Borovets on Sunday 29th - arriving Sofia 13.30 and would like someone to share my transfer! It's 67 euros return booked through Hunters who also do the best ski packages. But although it's probably no good for you if you are just coming for the weekend, at least you now know how much it will cost you..
Apparently the snow is brilliant at the moment, almost too much of it. There are a lot of people who post here going out to Borovets the weekend of the 28th/29th so ...

Regarding accommodation, I booked a room at the Samokov Hotel for only 33 euros a night - half board! Found the deal. Otherwise the prices given for the hotels on the Borovets pages on this website are pretty good, you can get the Ela for 35 euros HB.
