Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Though this is my first post I have read this site for a few years.
I must say that I am getting a bit concerned about the way some of the posters are treat by the site administrators at times.
I can understand rebuking or deleting offensive posts but it seems sometimes like deletions are made just because the admin people dont like some people or their views.
Thats not really fair, after all this is a discussion board.
I fear that this site will die a death like so many others have done if cliques are allowed to take over, and that would be a great shame.
Can I suggest that the admin people calm it down a bit, and if others are making comments that are relevant to a discussion, and are not offensive, they are allowed to have contrary points of view.

Debbie,Let me make one thing clear. No one is ever deleted for not agreeing with either myself or Pete ever.

Many times people disagree with either one of us or tell us we are out of order (yes we sometimes are, we are both passionate people!) We stick our heads above the trenches and sometimes we get shot! For instance last season I had a go at Benson for his weather reports, in hindsight(what a lovely thing) my comments were a bit strong and I quite rightly got shot down for it, but I took it on the chin and got on with it. I did not delete Benson or anyone else who had a go at me, the posting was left up.

Pete and I are aware of certain trolls who post on here from time to time and they are deleted full stop whether they have a valid point to make or not.

It is all very well to sit and criticise the admins when you know very little of what goes on behind the scenes. If a poster is absusive or make threats as some people have done then they will never be allowed to express an opinion on here again even if it is relevent to a discussion.

Many times forum user's may well be ignorant to what has happened in the past and this may cause you to wonder why a seemingly innocent posting has been removed. The truth is we really cannot explain every time we delete something.

I will add that every year on here someone will have a moan about the admins, truth is we can't win we make mistakes sometimes because we are human that will always happen. Both Pete and I have been subjected to some quite nasty sustained abuse (funny how that seems to go unnoticed) Pete in particular in the early days was given some quite vile abuse just becaue he happens to post more than anyone else.

Neither Myself or Pete get paid for this we both do it because we enjoy Bulgria and helping people. It is however a shame that some people will always spoil it for others.

Lastly this is a private forum on which well behaved members of the public are allowed to post, providing they follow the forum rules.

Ps Mich commercial point of view? What are you on about?
