Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Gatwick security check was very busy however we made it through and our flight took off on time. Aeroplane was a definate improvement on previous years and landed 20 minutes early which was fantastic. Unfortunately 2 other flights arrived at the same time so were waiting for all our luggage for roughly 2 hours (not much fun at midnight).

Arrived at the finlandia early hours to find it has been refurbished all 16 of us on the same floor .

The next day we made our way to the slopes and the queue for equipment etc was ridiculous and the front of the ski centre was just ice. Conditions were not good at all and we all took a tumble at one stage or another lots of skiers were completely out of control and causing accidents.

However on Tuesday the snow arrived and what a difference, it was like the lottery had been one by all. Conditions were then fantastic especially on the reds. After Weds the snow slowly stated to turn into slush/grass on the greens and blues so there was some walking to be done.

All in all Pamps is still charming and when the snow is there i wouldn't choose to ski anywhere else, but prices have gone up a little and there is a lot more hotels/apartments being built. Our skiing instructor Ploman was as brilliant as always.

Last but not least i could holiday anywhere under any condition with our perfect group of 16!

Will we go back for a 5th time nxt year? Hopefully
