Understanding the ski map

Can anyone help me to understand the piste map. I need to sort out the easy runs, i.e. blues and greens and which lift names,chair names to take, so as not to end up on the runs which are beyond my competance. I had a bad fall 06/07 when I mistakenly found myself on a red/black run and it has knocked my confidence pretty badly?

Sorry, I mean Borovets. I went to Pamporovo last year and found their piste map a lot easier to understand. I had no trouble there, but wanted a change this year.

I had the same problem as you last season as i had no idea what runs to go on so here are the runs that i think would be suitable for ya


For an easy Green - Rotata ( Deag Lifts ) - Slopes near Rila Hotel
For a good blue - Martinovi Baraki ( Chair Lift from outside Rila Hotel ) which connects with the Rotata.

Hi Carol,
A small mistake is quickly made, even if you know ( to read ) the way. My advise, take a guide / ski teacher for 2 days to show you the way ('s ). Once you know the lift's / slopes, it's easy and you 'll feel much more self asured.

Thank you for the good advice. I have been reading the various communications and there seems to be a chap called Vez ski instructor, goes to the Silver Fox. I will have a chat with him. It is nice to know I am not alone! Happy skiing.
