Someone told me to stand with your back at a door en then go down until your knees are 45°...and try to count to 10!

also, if you have a couple of identical hand weights or a couple of tins if beans in 2 bags, do some lunges, this helps to build the required muscles in your legs.
If you don't do any exercise, your legs will be burning from the exertion. (I know from my first time in over 13 years which was in 2000, I now make an effort to get fit before I go)
Found out I had a dodgy knee last year, so 100 squats a day for the last month, plus cod liver oil tablets, hopefully it will pay off this year.
I also recommend the massages, if only for the bliss of pampering yourself!!
