Update on Pamps, Here Now

Hi Everyone,
In Pamps now, all runs are still skiable, we had some snow yesterday briefly, and it was cold last night so looks like the cannons were on as snow was topped up.
More snow forcast wed and thurs, its getting patchy on the Green, but not as bad as last year yet.
Good thing the slopes are quiet, not alot here so the runs are not being hammered, its a bit slushy by the afternoon but not much ice about, so thats good.
The web cam at bottom makes it look alot worse than it is ...

AA, can you do me a massive favour, and try and find me an address out for the Snow Shack?? or an email I can contact them on, the SS is based near Ski depot 2.. That is great news. I was beginning to worry. I am coming out on Saturday, with a group of 6. I was the one who suggested Pamporovo. I have never been, so it was a risk.Thanks for the update!

The snow is still here up to now, best time to ski is between 9am and 2pm, after that its slushy at the bottom.
Most of the reds and blues are still ok for now, the top of the Wall still has snow and the bottom half of the wall is good.
Its been trying to snowing lightly up top today and its cloudy now so hopefully they can make more snow tonight.
Things aren,t great but we are still skiing,
beginners will be ok, theres plenty of snow to learn on up top, but the green ...

If you can ski red and blue these are better, not sure how long for tho, we really need a good dump.
The snowboard slope at back is still skiable but patchy in places, but we,ve been bombing down it going of piste across where the drag lift is and ski/ing in the powder thats still there, and then down to the bottom to get drag lift back up.
A group here are transferring to Bansko for the rest of week so it might be worth investigating that option as i,m not sure what next week will be like if it doesn,t snow.
They are trying to keep the slopes topped up where its needed most, we were here 5 weeks ago and it was up to our knees so they are getting snow from the snow thats still lying around and making it if its cold enough.
Sorry its not great news but we are still making the most of whats here, you just have to find the best bits to ski on. We are not in the ski school so we,ve been able to explore and pick out where to ski ourselves and we,ve had a great time.
The reps are brill and you,ll have a good time after ski,ing with the apres ski, we are going on skidoos tomorrow.
I,ve been here for last 5 years and will be back next year.
