Very URGENT - Info HOTEL BORR

Please can someone help and give me information on the following:

1) Is the Hotel Borr fully refurbished? If so has anyone stayed at the Hotel and how did they find it?

2) Was the distance from there to the ski slopes and ski school meeting point very long (are you able to get a ski-bus - do you have to pay?)

3) Is the distance to the Kindergarten from Hotel Borr walkable?

4) Any other helpful information would be MUCH appreciated!

Thankyou

Borovets is 10-15 mins walk to slopes by Hotel Rila. Walk is slightly uphill and you won't want to do it in boots!! No ski bus although taxi is 10 Lev from any point to any point in Borovets (about £3).

Skis and boots can be stored at ski depots - we used the one at the gondola!

As for being refurbished, the Bor is decent enough and food is OK if rarely piping hot! Bar prices are good and staff polite (except for the witch on reception). No pool yet but the one at Samokov hotel is ...

Tips - Get up early for breakfast at 8 and get to lifts by 9 then you will avoid queues!
