In -30 the skiing is great as the snow is very dry however it's good to take a balacarva type hat or a mask. In -30 you don't want skin exposed for a long period of time.
Make sure you have good gloves, plenty of layers and a very warm hat.
On the slopes you're never to far from a bar or shop to keep warm.
If you're going out to have a boozy night, don't walk alone as if you get lost or fall over anywhere, you don't get too many second chances in that temp.

it got to -25 when we were in boro last feb n even at the top of the mountain you dont really notice it when skiing! id reccomend a warm hat that covers your ears and a "buff" (get the fleece lines one( its basically a fleecy neck sock that u can pul over your mouth n nose)) as long as youve got goggles with these u wont feel the cold on your face, plus if you get too hot u can always pull the buff down! in my opinion this beats a bala hands down cos they just get itchy n sweaty n u cant ...
