That said, the mountain range isn't as big as the French/Swiss Aples, no way. Not as spectacular or majestic, no way. However prior to Borovets I had never experienced tree line skiing before so I was great to ski with pine forests around me.

Also the green Mussala pathway is a few miles long. Whilst not a proper piste it does snake it way down from the mountain top with some very picturesque scenery along the way. I skiied it a few times just to admire the views and there were some interest twists and turns along the way. I think the pathway is a road in summer.
Gary, I don't think I would go as many times as you however I love the weblink you posted. I'm always interested is seeing pictures of placec I've been to on holiday to see how the used to be and how they have changed. Thanks
I have boarded all over the world. Coming to Borovets as the gf is just learning. But I will say it is pretty, maybe the prettyest when it has snowed out of all of them.
