Bulgaria Ski discussion board

We have just returned from Borovets but this time decided to try out the Villa type of ski holiday staying in a nearby village. What an experience.....far better than staying in a hotel! Fantastic to meet the locals who were so friendly and helpful. ......the children gained so much from village life..... the children also went to ski school and loved it....... restaurants outside of Borovets were really cheap and excellent food.....£30 for eight of us for a 3-course meal with lots of wine and beer! Shopping for food in the local shop was interesting.....cannot believe how cheap the food is! The villa was beautiful........had everything you would want ... and more.....hired a car to get to the slopes which was perfect gave us lots of flexibility.....roads were surprisingly very good. Flights were only £80. Forgot to mention the villa only cost £500 and that was split between 8 do your own maths!
