Hi Just reading through your messages and you all seem hardened skiers 
We are going as a family in the February half term, for the first time, never put a pair of skis on in our life before, we have booked for lessons while we are there. We are staying in the Rila. Anything we should know, look for or Avoid!!

Hello and welcome on this site!for the most questions you can use the 'search' link; just type a word.. lots and lots of answers!
this site is very busy at the moment (5 pages a day) so this is for you the easiest way to get first hand info.
Have fun and please don't worry: everything will be fine and you gonna love the slopes

all good going on 25 feb for one week group of 9 staying in perilik and pamporovo one 3 and one 5 star hotel personally this is my forth time skiing on the white dance floor looking forward to skiing great fun for all the family personally i am woried about food other wise nothing worse that americe joke should be fine fingers cross ithis is my third time at pamporove ski resort i am a bit woried about the constant buildings that are being constructed trying to find out more have a great ...

Just laugh and enjoy!You will fall, your legs will ache, your kids will be better than you, you will have had hotter food, you will never have thought that your nose could be so cold..... But most of all, you will have so much fun, you will never go back to summer holidays!!

We got back from our first of many family ski holidays saturday..trust me you will feel
frustration!!!

like you our family apart from my daughter who had been several times before were new skier's last year . The only advice I can give is to start saving the day you come home as you will be so hooked you'll want to go again. We booked to come back this year a few weeks after we came home last year, going same time as you as we went at New Year which was great for party but not so good for snow. re: Virgin Skiers
Keep a look out for us then, there will be 7 of us (incl extended family) we'll be the ones doing a frank spencer down the slopes!! Caz
