Visiting Sofia on our last day?

Hey, we're planning on going to Borovets last week in Feb and it looks like our return flight is going to be quite late (around 8.30) and I was wondering if we might be able to visit Sofia on our last day - does anyone know how easy it would be to get from Sofia to the airport (or how far it is) and how big the left luggage lockers at the station are?

The taxi's in Sofia are about a 10th of what they are in the resorts even when the resort taxis are cheep! Tour operators in the resorts sort out day trips to Sofia for the last day of your holiday, they also keep hold of your bags etc.

We're not going with one of the tour operators - we're planning to book through profi-tours (this website) and are booking our flights separately, so we might have to go it alone, or talk sweetly to some reps!

Easy & Cheap to visit plenty to see. Wizzair have a city guide you can download. Don't know about them there lockers though.

On our inspection trip last Nov we stayed in a Sofia hotel last night - took about 15-20 mins to airport - don't know re left luggage lockers sorry

nik nak your rep will prob offer you for about 10 quid a sightseeing tour to sofia the coach will park up in city centre you take on short guided tour then a few hours to shop back on coach to airport your belongings stay on coach this trip is offered in place of your normal pickup saves hanging around resort all mornning and is well worth doing
