I think I was there, we had to unpack our luggage off the airport trailers in a blizzard. Flew out the following day.

S.P. Sounds about right. We were actually in the depature lounge, abandoned by reps, incoming flight diverted to Bourgas. Some time later after I managed to get hold of the airport tannoy and demanded some help for us; this was of course in the old days when the departure lounge only had seats for 5 people, as you say, our bags were dumped outside in a blizzard. And so it goes on. We got back Monday morning. Oh happy days

Oh dear, flying in to Sofia Sunday morning and picking up hire car to drive to Bansko. I feel a snow chain request coming on and maybe an upgrade from the Punto !

Don't want to put a dampner on things but all weather websites are forecasting rain and get this,30th jan plus 13 degrees for borovets.Hope I haven't wasted my money on cold weather clothing

Steve67 im out on the 29th and panic set in after seeing your post but after checking all my sources im sure you have confused farenheit with celcius. Smiffy dont panic looks like -13 to me! I may be wrong!
