WEATHER UPDATE 16th March...THAW

The season is looking like it is coming to an end in the respect of winter weather.

Certainly temperatures are going to be high until at least next weekend (21st/22nd) with them reaching as high as +12 to +14c at lower levels by the early part of next week.

No snow to come and no rain either until the weather changes around next weekend but that is to far in advance to forecast.

So a lot of thawing will take place in the next 5 days or so

Can confirm today in Borovets was very warm, beautiful day in fact, the skiing was still excellent today, the very top will be great for some days to come, over 2 m of snow, Rila area was getting a bit sticky in the afternoon sun but still good. Im going home tomoz so think I timed it just right. Have fun if you out next week. don't forget sun screen

With all the snow the streets of Boro will be rivers, was hoping for a gradual thaw.

No! No! No! I promised my boy snow and great skiing in April.
hold the thaw for another couple of weeks please.
