Hi folks,
To be honest, not a lot happening
Temperatures are up to about +3 or +4c at resort levels and these temperatures are likely to last all week, with early indications suggesting Friday daytime being +5c to +7c at 1300 to 1500m ASL.
There is a slight chance of some snow at higher levels around Thursday but it is not significant. Temperatures will drop briefly by Friday night with a chance of snow lasting into Saturday but again, nothing major.
People keep asking for ...

People keep asking for March....it is a long way off but the only thing I can say is that the long spell of settled weather which is happening now, is like to change to become unsettled towards the end of Feb and this could give some late season snow...but it is all in the temperatures and that is something that I am not going to speculate on !!

As always thanks Mark. Hope that a little flurry comes Sat which will be just right for me Sun Morn. Higher Temps = more sunshine? Hope so.

It's good there is good weather now. We went first week of March last year and timed it brilliantly. We also spoke to loads of people who have been same time time of year every year always had good snow.
My reasoning is...
If plenty of snow in Feb then it does not matter if 1st week of March has no snow.
If little snow in Feb then reason and probability says early March will get a least one decent fall.
The good news this year is that there has been so much snow ...

Even so, I am still secretly desperate for that perfect dump of snow at the right time so we get some good powder skiing ;-)

Thank you Markwe are off next week, so i now know to pack extra suncream and maybe safe the handwarmers for next year.
