WHICH AIRPORT!!!

just enquired about next years hols and on the date we want to go they only fly into plovdiv not sofia,could anybody tell me the transfer time from plovdiv to borovets(true time not brochure time)and what the journeys like ,,cheers

I think it's a horrible 6 hour car journey.

Get Sofia at all costs.

I did that 2 years ago and it was 9 1/2 hours with no stops-sorry but thats how it is sukka

About time you had a serious answer i think Mike, took me 2hrs 15mins in January (not a lot of snow at low level then though), this has been asked a few times, most recently yesterday, try searching older posts.
Journeys ok really.

9 1/2 hours?!?!? Where did u go mate??? Did u first go to Greece or something?!
I don't exactly know where the Plovdiv airport is but Plovdiv City to Sofia City is not more than 2 hours in winter conditions! And Sofia - Borovetz is about an hour!
No warries...get Plovdiv!

just arrived home, last sat when we arrived the transfer took us 3 hours to borovets from plovdiv, but that was in really heavy snow storm, coming home today the transfer was only 2 hours, im not all that keen of long transfers,but to be honest it really wasnt that bad, the airport is really small so your almost off the coach and on the plane......no waiting around for hours.....goodluck

It took us 4 hours last week on the way as the coach couldn't turn round and we were caught in blizzards.It only took 2 hours coming down the mountain though!
