There are 15 of us coming out to you on the 27th of December of 4 families.
What we want to know is what sort of boots should we wear for general walking? Because of the cold snow and ice.
Any tips or comments that would be helpful to first timers are also welcome on this topic.
I take walking boots with me and leave them at the ski hire shop. I have my own boots but slip on my walking boots at the end of the day.... very comfortable. I also take a pair of Timberlands which I can hop about in like a mountain goat (well sort of) and also a pair of trainers (more care needed on the ice in these). Don't take anything like leather soled shoes...... you'll end up flat on your back!!
Ah but were you totally plastered at the time???? I too took studded trainers, didn't fall over but jumped into a pile of snow and made snow angels......... albeit after tequila suicides, flaming sambuca's and a shed load of astika (or what ever it was)
I take your point though!!
No - we didn't arrive at the hotel until 2.30am as we flew to Plovdiv and I was skiing in Borovets. Knackered, not plastered. Haven't you seen various threads... I'm tee-total and Pamps Pete is having to give me drinking lessons this year.
