Just a quck post note.My wife and I have just reurned from a freelance holiday in Bulgaria.the accomadtion was poor ( as to be expected from Bulgaria ) I have not got a problem with that.
But we do have a problem with the selfish bloody mindiness with alot of the Bulgarians in the towns of Boro/Pamps.On the first night they act all friendly then as alot of tourist go back ( mostly on sats) they start acting rude.Its funny when they saw my wife and I on the following monday they looked ...

But we do have a problem with the selfish bloody mindiness with alot of the Bulgarians in the towns of Boro/Pamps.On the first night they act all friendly then as alot of tourist go back ( mostly on sats) they start acting rude.Its funny when they saw my wife and I on the following monday they looked surprised so the whole " act" of being polite started all over again.
I appricaite they are there for the money and nothing else but it made me sick to see the difference in attitude once the whole " turnover" began.Ie Saturdays when the new english tourist arrived.
I will not be reccomending Bulgaria to my friends.
Don't agree at all sorry. Been going to Boro for 5 years and always go mid week to mid week, that way I avoid the Saturday turnaround. I find the Bulgarians the most friendly people I have ever met. You say they start acting rude when people go back, to who? If people have gone back who are they being rude too, their fellow Bulgarians? Saturdays are important as they like to attract people to the bars and restaurants when they arrive, but being rude, sorry, I just can't agree.

Give Bulgaria another try, I can assure you that once you see the friendships that can be made you will always want to go back.

Where did you stay?It always amazes me when people would pick the most basic hotel in a resort and then complain that ALL hotels are basic.This is just absurd.I've stayed in a 2* hotel in Vermont,USA with 2 toilets for 8 rooms,but I don't go saying all hotels in USA are dodgy!!!It's what you pick,after all.
